Finger ECG: Bringing Device and Software Design Together
An active R&D role in the Finger ECG project, approaching the physical device, embedded software and mobile experience as parts of one product.

Finger ECG
Finger ECG is one of the three ECG R&D projects to which Çağdaş Ekşi actively contributed. A finger-operated format places physical interaction at the centre of the product experience. The transition between device and software therefore deserves attention from the start.
Where does the user begin? What state is visible during an interaction, and how is the next step explained? Where does embedded software responsibility end and mobile interface responsibility begin? These design questions help make product scope and communication between teams more concrete.
A product development perspective
This is one of three wearable ECG R&D projects in which Çağdaş Ekşi played an active role. The experience centres on bringing physical product development and software engineering together around a shared product goal.
Expertise spanning backend and server infrastructure, mobile apps, embedded software and hardware–software integration helps connect the different parts of a product. This account describes R&D participation and the approach to product development.
From backend systems to wearables, from development to growth.
Technical leadership and the way a product reaches its users belong in the same conversation. SEO and marketing experience helps turn engineering scope into a clear product story. For wearables, user needs, technical scope and the overall experience also need a common frame of reference.
The ECG T-Shirt, ECG Patch and Finger ECG are presented as separate projects in this portfolio. Each project page links to its article, the other projects and the wearable technology service.
