Arrow Escape, Carnival Blast and Cube Away: Designing Puzzle Experiences

The purpose, features and product structure of three Unity projects developed around short play sessions.

Arrow Escape, Carnival Blast and Cube Away: Designing Puzzle Experiences

A challenge that fits a short session

A mobile puzzle asks players to understand their goal quickly and see the result of each move. Arrow Escape, Carnival Blast and Cube Away are separate Unity projects exploring these experiences.

Each has its own product name and workspace. Even when tools are shared, interface, visuals and progression shape the identity players encounter.

The focus of each project

Arrow Escape: Puzzle centres on puzzle interactions and thinking through moves. Carnival Blast, maintained in the RoyalSmash folder, has a distinct identity around its colourful game world and visuals.

Cube Away 3D: Tap Puzzle brings touch interactions, level progression and game modes together. Classic, Shape Journey and Take Away form parts of its content structure.

Visible features and supporting systems

Players see controls, levels and visual feedback. Development also involves level data, interface assets and game-state management.

Cube Away includes advertising integration and in-app purchase preparation. These belong to its economy and release-preparation work and need to be considered alongside play.

Turning identity into experience

A product name becomes meaningful through how a game behaves. Understandable controls, progression and consistent visuals make that identity tangible.

These projects appear in the portfolio as Unity development work. Features are described within each project's scope; working copies and extracted asset packages are not counted as separate products.
